Bluetooth Chargers

Did you know that many cell phone chargers will work with Bluetooth headset devices?  Often if you buy an LG cell phone the cell phone charger will also work with an LG Bluetooh headset device.  The same goes for all other types of brands of phones and chargers.  Well what do you do if you somehow lost your charger or get a new headset?

Typically if you buy a new Bluetooth headset a new charger will be included with the headset.  Sometimes we get questions from readers that bought a headset on ebay or got one from a friend that did not come with its own charger.  There are options for you if this is the case.

The first option is to hop on the Internet and search for your specific brand of headset.  Often at big sites like LG and Sprint will have an online store where you can buy accessories.  The down draw to this is that usually these bigger sites want you to buy a whole new headset.  This simply is not practical.  We find that the best way to get a replacement headset charger is by getting on auction sites like Ebay and Amazon and searching for chargers.  We cannot stress this enough but make sure you search for the EXACT model of your headset.  Too often people just put in broad searches like “LG Headset,” instead of making it specific like “LG 9800 VX Headset.”

Another option is to search our links on the page and check out the accessory dealers.  Many of these dealers have specific parts for sale like Bluetooth headset chargers.  Another great place to look for spare bluetooth headeset chargers is an actual cell phone store.  Often someone will bring in their broken headset to a store and also give the store back the charger.  Alot of cell phone stores have spare parts just sitting around so you might get lucky and be able to find the exact headset charger you are looking for.

Sadly, if you cannot find a charger for your Bluetooth headset you may have to break down and buy a new one.  No need to fear however because headsets have gotten very cheap as of late.  You can find deals online and in stores where you can find a decent headset for around $20 dollars.  For some people $20 dollars is worth not having to run around a million places hoping to find the charger they are looking for.
