In an emergency situation it is good to take turns with other people winding the charger as you may get tired after 10 minutes or so of winding.
It may sound a little strange that you can crank a charger to charge your phone but its the ability that’s the most important. In a life saving instance you would not care if you had to crank something to make a call for help.
